Privacy Policy
Short version: the game runs in your browser, and only a scoreboard post carries anything about you.
The whole story in one paragraph
The drive, the simulation, the grades and your record all run inside the page you are looking at. There is no account, and your record is a small line of text your own browser keeps. Two things leave it. The scoreboard, but only if you type a name and press Post: that name and your number go to a small scoreboard service of ours and sit there until the day is over. And the page counter, which knows nothing about you and is described below.
What leaves your browser
Three requests reach our scoreboard service. Two of them say nothing about you but a date.
| Request | Carries | When |
|---|---|---|
| A signed opening for the drive | The date and the mode. No name, no score, nothing about your record. | The moment a drive starts, so the scoreboard can tell a real game from a scripted one. |
| Today's board | Just the date — it is a read of names and numbers other people posted. | When the scoreboard, gauntlet or survivor box is drawn. |
| Your post | The name you typed, your score, the date and the drive you played. | Only when you press Post. Never on its own. |
No account sits behind any of it, so a post cannot be traced to you past the name you chose. Type no name, press nothing, and the third row never happens: your game stays on your machine.
The page counter
Cloudflare serves this site, and it adds one small script to every page and counts the visit. That script is the only thing on the site that comes from another domain: beacon.min.js, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. It then sends one page view back to /cdn-cgi/rum on this domain, where Cloudflare picks it up.
Rather than take Cloudflare's word for what it does, I loaded the page in a browser and watched. Over a full visit it set no cookie, wrote nothing to local storage or session storage, and the one request it made carried the page path, the referring page, the browser's user agent and the country the request came from. Nothing else. What that buys me is a number: how many people read which page, so I know whether the archive or a guide page is worth keeping.
If you would rather it did not run, blocking static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser or an extension stops it and nothing on the page breaks. The game is not waiting for that script.
The only thing that gets saved on your device
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Days played | Local storage, one key: tmd.daily.v1 | The streak, the best score and the archive cannot work without it. |
| Each day's result | The same key, one line per day | Won, tied or lost, your score, theirs, the drive's decision quality, how many plays you called, and which date the drive belonged to. |
| The drive in progress | Memory only | It is a game in progress. Reload and it starts again. |
That is the entire list. The only thing you ever type on this site is the name on a scoreboard post, and leaving it empty is fine.
What does not happen
- No account, no password, no email address, no profile.
- No automatic upload. Nothing about your decisions, your score or your record goes anywhere unless you type a name and press Post — and then it is the name and the number, not the drive.
- No ad network, no tracking pixels, no analytics of our own, and nothing that follows you to another site. A page load asks for its own stylesheet, two font files, its data files and its scripts from this domain, plus the three scoreboard requests above and Cloudflare's page counter. That is the complete list.
- No cookies. The scoreboard sets none, and neither does Cloudflare's page counter — the cookie jar stays empty after a full visit.
- Nothing for sale and no ads.
- The share button copies a line of text to your clipboard and stops there. It does not post to anything, and the text is put there in front of you rather than sent.
If your browser says no
Private windows and strict settings can refuse local storage. When that happens the game still plays normally, and the record is held in memory for that session only: close the tab and it is gone. Nothing warns you and nothing breaks. The streak simply starts again next time.
How to wipe it
Clear site data for this site in your browser's settings, and the record goes with it. There is no reset button in the game because the browser already has the right tool for the job.
Reviewed 18 October 2026: the day the scoreboard was turned on, and the day I watched what Cloudflare's page counter actually does instead of repeating that the site collects nothing. When something changes again, this page changes with it, in plain words.
