What actually happened
Baltimore's crowd had seen this movie before. Buffalo took over at its own 20 with 4:09 left in a tie game, and Josh Allen went to work underneath.
Four yards to Stefon Diggs. Four to Devin Singletary. Then a 20-yard strike to Dawson Knox that moved the chains and told you what kind of drive this was going to be: no panic, no hero ball, ten yards at a time until the Ravens had to start spending timeouts.
Allen scrambled for seven. Khalil Shakir got nine and stepped out of bounds. A false start and a roughing call on Baltimore kept the march going. Inside the two-minute warning, Singletary took a short throw for 16 to the 11, and the Ravens burned two timeouts trying to stop what everyone in the building could see coming.
At the 1, Allen took two knees to run the clock down. Tyler Bass kicked a 21-yard field goal as time expired. 23–20.
About eighty yards, four minutes and four seconds of offense. Baltimore never touched the ball again.
